Established in 1981, Hanita Lenses is Israel’s market leader and foremost manufacturer of Intraocular Lenses and Contact Lenses with more than 60% of the local Market.

Hanita’s strategy focuses on innovation in R&D and technology, in order to keep the company as a dynamic leading player in the Medical Device Ophthalmic market.

Hanita’s products are sold through a network of distributors throughout Europe, Asia, Latin America, etc.

TECHNOLOGY

Intraocular Lenses:

Investments in stage of the art equipment and technology, both in R&D and production have placed Hanita at an advanced position, enabling the company to compete in the fast-changing IOL market.

New advanced products are continually in the R&D pipeline. Hanita’s highly skilled team is working in close collaboration with the company’s advisory board, constitute of leading Ophthalmic surgeons.

This collaboration allows the company to develop innovative designs of intraocular lenses that support new surgical techniques.

Contact Lenses:

Hanita Lenses manufactures and sells a broad range of GP, soft, conventional, special and disposable contact lenses, using the most advanced raw materials. Special designs, such as Toric Lenses, Keratoconus, Orthokeratology and lenses for dry eyes, are included in the range.

The latest computerized techniques as well as the state of the art equipment both contribute to the excellence of our contact lens division.

Hanita Lenses Quality control team is constructed of highly trained technicians and engineers. Each lens is tested and regulated according to strict specifications, in a clean regulated environment, using state-of-the-art optical equipment.
