Hanita Lenses was pleased to join the 136th Annual Meeting of the Korean Ophthalmological Society, held alongside the 6th APOIS Congress and the 19th Korea-China-Japan Joint Meeting, from 30 October to 1 November 2026 at Grand Walkerhill Seoul. It was a valuable opportunity to connect with the ophthalmology community and exchange perspectives on IOL technology and clinical practice.
A highlight was the sharing of Intensityยฎ๏ธ clinical research and real-world experience by Prof. IKHYUN JUN of Yonsei Severance Hospital and Prof. Seung Pil Bang of Keimyung University Dongsan Hospital. Their presentations brought patient outcomes and visual performance into the discussion, connecting optical technology with clinical experience.
At our booth, we were delighted to welcome Prof. Dr. med. Gerd U. Auffarth, MD, FEBO, FWCRS. and fellow ophthalmologists for conversations about our technologies. From reviewing product information to discussing questions from practice, these exchanges made our time in Seoul especially meaningful.
For us, the value of a congress goes beyond visibility. It is an opportunity to discuss evidence, listen to clinicians and bring their questions into future education.
Our sincere thanks to the speakers, everyone who visited our booth, and our colleagues in Korea. We look forward to continuing these conversations beyond Seoul.
