APAO 2026 in Hong Kong highlighted the growing global reach of the congress and its role within the international ophthalmic community. The Hanita Lenses team saw firsthand how this year’s meeting brought together not only participants from across Asia-Pacific, but also an increasing number of ophthalmologists and distributors from Europe and Latin America.

The visit, together with the international attendance at APAO, reflected the increasing worldwide focus on innovation and manufacturing capabilities within the ophthalmic field.
