Spectacle Independence After Cataract Surgery: A Prospective Study With a Multifocal Intraocular Lens

Our aim was to review clinical outcome and patient satisfaction after cataract surgery to obtain spectacle independence following multifocal intraocular lens (IOL) implantation. A prospective case-series study was designed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the Hanita FullRange pseudophakic multifocal intraocular lens in patients with programmed cataract surgery, performed between October 2017 and May […]
Clinical outcomes with a new diffractive multifocal intraocular lens SeeLens MF

This new IOL provides functional intermediate vision with intraocular optical quality performance which places this IOL as a suitable choice within the different alternatives of diffractive multifocal IOL, presented by Prof. Alio et.al. (Vissum, Spain), at the AAO 2013. Click here to watch the presentation Fullrange Professional brochure
Comparison of visual outcomes of two multifocal IOLS: SeeLens MF and Acrisoft SN6AD1

The Seelens MF allowed a better UCNVA with 26.9% of the eyes achieving J1, at the comparison study of visual outcomes following cataract surgery between two multifocal intraocular lenses: Seelens MF and Acrisoft SN6AD1, presented by Dr. Bordin et.al. (Verona, Italy), at the ESCRS 2013. Click here to watch the presentation Fullrange Professional brochure
Comparison of a hydrophilic and a hydrophobic apodized diffractive multifocal IOL

The study shows that the SeeLens MF performs well compared to a well known multifocal apodized IOL, the SN6AD1 in terms of distance and near acuity. The lens material and design of the SeeLens MF clinically and statistically significantly improves straylight and quality of vision. Presented as a poster by Dr Ruth Lapid at the […]
SeeLens MF PCO two years follow-up

At the PAAO congress, held in August 2013 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Dr L.G. Paparo presented the results of a two years’ follow-up study on SeeLens MF, Hanita Lenses’ Multifocal IOL. The fact that the SeeLens MF shows no evidence of PCO after two years’ follow-up is discussed and explained. Click here to […]
SeeLens MF two years follow-up

Dr L.G. Paparo presented a comparative study of Hanita Lenses’ Multifocal IOL, the SeeLens MF, with Oculentis Mplus, at the Congreso Internacional de Oftalmologia2013 in Cali, Colombia. The fact that the SeeLens MF show no evidence of PCO after two years’ follow-up is discussed and explained. Click here to watch the presentation
SeeLens MF Clinical study

Dr Ruth Lapid presented a study of Hanita Lenses’ Multifocal IOL, the SeeLens MF, at the ASCRS, 2013 in San Francisco. The results of a comparison with a hydrophobic apodized multifocal IOL are discussed. Click here to watch the presentation
Recent Peer-reviewed Paper Finds SeeLens MF Matches and Outperforms Competitor Lens on Key Parameters

In the study, conducted by researchers in The Netherland and published in February in International Ophthalmology, Hanita Lenses’ SeeLens MF was shown to perform equally as well as the SN6AD1 lens for UCDA and CDVA. According to the study authors, “the SeeLens MF performs better at intermediate distance, and seems to allow for better depth […]
